Update of 8-28-2005:

RYAN IS CANCER-FREE !!!!!!!!

Some of you already heard the news but for everyone else...

A call came from NY on Monday to say that his CT scan and MIBG scan showed "no evidence of disease" - a first for the MIBG which is neuroblastoma specific.

A second call came today to say that his bone marrow biopsies also show "no evidence of disease"!!

HE'S CLEAN!!!!

The Amazing Super Ryan has finally wrestled this monster to the ground and beat the crap out of it!

It took a looong 20 months but with the combination of his resiliency, many dedicated doctors and TONS of prayers, he just couldn't lose.

Ryan will continue with the antibody therapy in NY for at least another 4 rounds.

More if he doesn't develop human anti-mouse anitbody (HAMA).

The feeling is, the more the better which may, hopefully, lessen the likelihood of relapse.

While we thank the Lord for answering our prayers, we will continue to pray not only for Ryan's CONTINUED good health, but also for all our other little NB friends who are still bravely fighting this battle.

We are very aware that success with Neuroblastoma can be fleeting as relapse is always a possibility.

So keep those prayers going - especially prayers of thanksgiving.
